Dudamel

We were lucky enough to be able to see Gustavo Dudamel conduct the L.A. Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The second half was Strauss, which I noticed he conducted from memory. It was fantastic. And this is coming from someone who saw the Doors and Jefferson Airplane back in the day. So, take it from me, if you have a chance to see Dudamel conduct, please do. That he has achieved so much at age 27 is tribute to the human spirit.....true genius.

I've been lucky enough to see so many "events". Be it Lar Lubovitch, Dance Theater of Harlem, The Bolshoi, Miles Davis, Hole, Bruce Springsteen, Harold Land, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Greg Lemond, Magic Johnson, Nelson Vails, etc etc etc. All of these things give me hope that there should be a continuation of the species.
